Contacting the firm
An email, quote request or telephone enquiry does not by itself establish a solicitor and client relationship. We must confirm that we can act and agree to the retainer. Do not assume that a deadline is being handled until we confirm the engagement.
Fees
Published starting fees are in Canadian dollars. The fee for your closing depends on the work required and is confirmed in writing before you retain the firm. HST and permitted disbursements are additional. Your written quote and retainer describe the work covered and applicable costs. Other transaction amounts, such as mortgage payouts and closing adjustments, are separate from the legal fee.
